Man in critical condition after falling off of garbage truck | News

DALE CO., AL (WSFA) - A Dale County Sanitation Worker is in critical condition after he was involved in an accident with the garbage truck he was working on at the time.

Alabama State Troopers say the 20-year-old male sanitation worker fell off of the garbage truck he was working and and was dragged behind the truck until the driver was alerted to what had happened. It is unknown at this time if the man was also run over by the truck.

The victim is currently in a Birmingham hospital in critical condition after originally being transported to Flowers Hospital in Dothan.

Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate this accident.
