@ 10:23 pm.  Harassment.  Andrews Ave. Victim (Travis M. Phillips) stated suspect (Grover D. McCoy) threatened him with bodily harm.

@ 11:34 am.  Theft of Property 2nd.  Paige Ct.  Victim (Natalie M. Rohr) stated her medication was missing from her hiding place.  Suspect (Brandon S. Casey) was the only person in the residence at that time.

@ 12:13 pm.  Criminal Trespass 1st.  Paige Ct.  Victim (Natalie M. Rohr) stated suspect (Brandon S. Casey) entered her residence without permission.

@ 12:30 pm.  Accidental Damage. Floyd Ave.  Victim (Tonya S. King) stated her window (vehicle) was accidentally broken by a rock from a lawn mower.

Ozark man arrested on theft of property charges

On March 1, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent investigation of employee theft from a local business. Investigators say that while employed at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Joshua Meeks took several miscellaneous items from the business without paying for them. Meeks’s arrest now brings this case to a close.

Joshua Brandon Meeks, 23 years of age, of Ozark, Alabama was arrested and charged with First Degree Theft of Property with a $5,000 bond. 

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

@ 3:36 am.  Unlawful Possession of Certain Chemical Compounds.  S. Union Ave. Suspect (Kaneca T. Snell) was stopped for a traffic violation. Suspect was found to have illegal contraband in her possession.

@ 8:35 am.  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Possession of Controlled Substance.  Brandi Ln.  Suspects (Victoria L. Sewell) and (Donald K. Turner) were stopped for a traffic violation.  Drug paraphernalia and contraband were found.

@ 12:18 pm.  Sexual Abuse 1st/Causing of Delinquency, Dependency or need of Supervision of Children. Pvt Rd 1339. Victim reported suspect (John H. Bright) gave her alcohol and pills. Victim also reported suspect touched and took pictures of her while she was passed out.

@ 10:25 am.  Burglary 3rd/Theft of Property 2nd.  Brandi Ln.  Complainant (Tonya D. Eutsey) stated an unknown suspect had entered her mother’s home and removed items without permission. 

@ 5:57 pm.  Theft of Lost Property.  Murphy USA.  Victim (Denice N. Durr) stated she lost her wallet in the parking lot. Wallet could not be found and no one had turned it in as lost.

@ 8:51 pm.  Criminal Trespass 3rd.  Oakview Manor.  Suspects (Charity J. Barrett) and (Ronald E. Hartzog) violated their ban from the property.

@ 7:00 am.  Duty to Give Information/Render Aid.  Andrews Ave. Victim (Brandy L. Blankenship) stated suspect (Roy L. Robbins) struck her vehicle and left the scene.

@ 8:43 am.  Theft of Property 3rd.  Pecan St. Victim (Sheronda A. Tellis) stated suspect (Maurice Hobdy) took property that didn’t belong to him when he moved.

@ 9:05 am.  Criminal Mischief. Debra Ln.  Victim (Maurice Hobdy) stated suspect (Sharonda A. Tellis) was beating on his door, broke a window and the door frame. 

@ 12:39 pm.  Domestic Dispute.  Ned Ave.  (Renee Miggins) and (Caesar McGruder) were arguing over personal matters.

@ 4:50 pm.  Harassment.  S. Union Ave.  Victim (Michael H. Pinkerton) stated suspect (Lonnie R. D. Burks) became irate and threatened him with bodily harm.

@ 10:23 am.  Theft by Deception 3rd.  Grocery Outlet.  Complainant (Tonya R. Watson) stated an unknown suspect changed prices on products, paid and left the premises.  

@ 1:55 pm.  Identity Theft.  Unknown.  Victim (Daniel L. Smith) stated suspect (Anna Smith) opened a cell phone account in his name without permission.

@ 3:44 pm.  Possession of Forged Instrument 2nd (x4). Andrews Ave.  Victim (John N. Baker) stated suspects (Dominique M. Baker) and (Jasmine D. Gissendanner) wrote checks out of his account without his permission.

@ 5:06 pm.  Theft of Property 3rd.  Boutwell Ct.  Victim (Beverly L. Owens) stated while in the process of moving she noticed some of her furniture missing from the old residence.

@ 12:09 am.  Domestic Dispute.  County Rd 20.  (Diane L. Sanders) and (Adam A. Sanders) were arguing over personal matters.

@ 5:08 am.  Criminal Mischief 2nd.  East Hwy 27.  Victim (James L. Love) stated an unknown suspect damaged the electronic canopy arm on his vehicle and left the scene. 

@ 8:07 am.  Unlawful B & E of Vehicle.  Oakdale Dr.  Victim (Glenn A. Brooks) stated an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and removed property without permission.

@ 8:58 am.  Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  Martin St.  Complainant reported suspect (Tyffany A. Edwards) left her infant child home alone to go to the store.  Complainant stated this was not the first time the suspect had left the child.
